Learning about the journey of entrepreneurship through some amazing women around the world. | Imperfect Concepts

Today, I would like you to meet Naisha of Brownstone Closets based in South NJ. As I write this introduction I am smiling mainly because over the last three years of working with Naisha I have seen her dream flourish on her own terms. She has committed to growing her dreams on her terms which is an amazing thing to watch.

Why did you start your business? I love organizing and decorating and felt it was time to make a career out of it

How long have you been in business? A little over three years.

Where are you located? Southern New Jersey

The biggest obstacle when initially launching? Working on the website.

If you could start all over again what would you do differently? Not over think.

What area of the startup do people not provide that much information on that you had to dig deeper for? The emotional side of it. Bustis business but knowing who you truly are is key so that you don’t stray from your initial thoughts and ideas and go with what others think you should be doing.

How much was the initial startup cost for your business? Under $100

What is your favorite thing about being your own boss? Creating and putting out products and ideas that I love.

Do you have a community that surrounds you? If so, how do you find these amazing people? I do have an amazing tribe.  A lot were there before the business. Others I “met” through social media.

Did you utilize the services of a consultant, ebooks or eCourse when launching? If so, why was it important for you to do this? I hired a business coach, Tasha Robinson of Imperfect Concepts. I wanted to get help with launching and guidance on the direction of my business starting out.

As I move into putting out new products, etc. I would love referrals, reposting sales, shares, and purchases!!!
